North Georgia kayak fishing/Hammock hang Toccoa river from Deep Hole to Sandy Bottom

How’s this sound kayak fishing/hangers. August 13th thru 15th We put in at Deep Hole then paddle down river and fish along the way. we will camp at the swinging bridge by the Benton MacKaye trail about 6 miles down river. We can fish eat and just chill out for a few days Hammock camping. Then on the 15th paddle and fish another 7 miles down to sandy bottom portage area. We will keep a vehicle down at Sandy Bottom to drive back and pick up the trucks,cars and return to pick up are gear.

Sections of the Toccoa River kayak Trail include:
Deep Hole to Rock Creek Road Bridge: 1.5 miles with good fishing.
Rock Creek Road Bridge to Margret: 1.0 miles
Margret to Butt Bridge: 5.8 miles with rapids, campsites and a suspension bridge
Butt Bridge to Dial Bridge: 1.5 miles
Dial Bridge to Sandy Bottoms: 4 miles

Those dates work for me if work doesnt get crazy. Can't wait to put my boat in the water

Would love to go, but unfortunately I can't because it's not on a weekend.

This would be a good weekend trip too. I've been up there on the weekend and never seen the river as packed as some of the others

If all agree we could change the dates and make it a weekend trip. Let me know what you think?
