New Use for Flyz Grill
So I took my gear out on the local trail and stopped to cook up some rations with my Vargo alky stove. With all the snow I was worried about the stove shifting down into the snow. Then I thought of my Flyz Grill and used it as a base. Worked perfectly. Kept the stove stable in the snow.

I imagine it would do the same in other non-snowy terrain as well for not only an alchy stove base, but for anything else that could benefit from a level/flat base... And it's a handsome grill.

You're right about other surfaces. The bonus is that in the snow as it melts the base allows it to settle uniformly so it doesn't tip over.
