Hennessy Service
Got to give a nod to the great folks at HH for outstanding service. One of my Snakeskins started to develop a split, so I called and spoke to Keltie. She asked me to send her a picture of the problem, and within minutes I got an email telling me that I had an incoming shipment from Hennessy Hammocks - a new set of snakeskins, with UPS tracking number, out that afternoon. No problems, no questions, no hassles, no return postage of the defective item.
Kudos, Hennessy Hammocks. Well done.

I had the same! Ordered my hammock with 72 inch straps and got the shorter ones. Emailed and received the correct ones two days later no charge.

started a thread like this about a year ago complimenting hennessy on their great customer service, i had the pleasure of dealing with Ann and Keltie in about 25 emails over the course of almost 4 months and the level of customer service i got was absolutely tremendous

I emailed hennessy about a seam coming apart on my expedition asym zip on Sunday. It seems that the nylon is just pulling out from where it was sewn to the bug net opposite the zipper. I haven't even had the hammock a year. I have always been careful with the hammock.
I am not even sure if they will cover it with the warranty where I switched to whoopies but I would just like to hear back :(

While I hated the HH, I have to say that I was *very* impressed with the quality of their service.

I heard back from hennessy with a couple questions. then I contacted my retailer (MEC). MEC is gonna just exchange it for me no problem :boggle: I should have called them first instead of bothering Hennessy :eek:
I cant wait to get back in my Hennessy :D

Keltie and Steve managed to keep me calm. I sent my Safari to them for a repair, and I think the guys in customs were using it to lay around the office. It took over a month to get to them, but it finally arrived. I am sure they were tired of seeing my emails asking if it had arrived yet. They got the hammock repaired and back to me in a week. I don't know how it took over four times as long to get to them, but they assured me that sometimes customs slows things down getting to them. Had to keep telling me that it was normal.
Great service, and I am tickled to be back in my Safari.
