WFA---certification
I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in a getting certified in WFA(Wilderness First Aid)? Last time we did this it was roughly three years ago at Isinours Management Unit (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_for...ex.html)....it was a three day course with first day doing certification of basic cpr in the am. Pete(warmsoda) was nice enough to train us and is still certified to pass on his knowledge. if anyone is interested please pm so we can set up dates and anyother housekeeping issues.

I can do one in Northeast Ohio as well.

I was with you for that WFA hang in 2011 and now I need a re-cert for my job. Keep me posted. Our certificates expire this September.

I'm with CryoftheWild. Need to recertify as well.

If there is an ohio class I'd happily attend.
If this is in Minny, then with enough advance notice I may be able to plan my trip there to coincide, this summer.

Yeah I'd like to try to make it to an ohio class for sure.

Last time it the class was in the fall. The class was hands on and the participants were supportive. Warmsoda loves brats and steaks.(hint, hint) If there is any questions please feel free and ask.

WFA---certification
The BSA offers WFA as a standard class, as it is a requirement for Philmont Adult Leaders. If you are looking to take the class, it should be available pretty frequently through the local council.
