it's still no pets. Right?
ZQ here....as far as I know, things haven't changed. Dogs are allowed in designated campsites in the family campground, but not in the group camping area.:( Last year, some brought their dogs, but it really isn't allowed. I do think they are allowed at the pavillon. Pet rules are on the PA State Parks website.
Unless it is a service dog. They are allowed. ( I emailed Pine Grove SP and they said yes, they are allowed in the group area.) Don't be too quick to judge when you see someone in a public place wth a dog at their side. A service dog is not a pet and not all disabilities are visible. Just sayin.
ZQ here....yes, I wasn't talking about service dogs. Those great dogs are allowed everywhere! One can usually tell the difference between a service dog and a family pet...a service dog is working...body language...just sayin!:)
I should add....Two Tents, I am glad you addressed the service dog issue. I agree...one should'nt be too quick to judge...I think it is wonderful and liberating to have these service dogs...the training that went into making them the teammates they are.
Not sure yet for me as I won't know till end of February or early March what my April work schedule might be. It all depends on my Penn State Basketball schedule and tournaments in April and also any touring shows at the Bryce Jordan arena.
But as always, I will do my best to hike!!! People have been telling me to take a hike my whole life, so it sorta stuck.

This is a tough decision, Spring MAHHA or another Section Hike. I'm planning on doing a section hike from 4/20 - 4/28, I may have to wait for the Fall MAHHA
I hiked in NOBO last year from Washington DC .. gotta' watch those Spring hikes ..
Kaia, she is no service dog, she's a spoiled little..................
