How to repair Hexon 1.6 hole?

I made a bridge hammock out of Hexon 1.6 and I found I poked a tiny hold near the edge webbing (about where my elbow or knee would be in the hammock) when I was trimming some threads. It's about 1/4" at it's length and doesn't appear to have grown significantly while I was testing the hammock. What do people recommend I do about this?

a) Ignore it and hope it doesn't grown bigger
b) Sew a patch of Hexon over it
c) Put some Tenacious Tape over both sides of the hole
d) Put some Fray Check or Liquid Stitch around the hole

I would think Dutchware would be the ultimate source for that info. Give 'em a call.

And this is precisely why I don't use scissors for cutting thread. I will only use a seam ripper for that purpose.

I would do something.
Patch would be easy since you have matching material. Perhaps some saddlebags styled pockets and as you install the pockets, patch the wound.

Tenacious tape is also a quick and easy solution. Circle or semi-circle (the straight edge to your hem) works best, IMO. Tape both sides of the fabric. Tenacious tape comes in clear, so visually it blends in well. Colors are also available. Many vendors also sell the tape.

Bridges, by nature of design, carry a tremendous amount of stress at the edge. I think its a matter of time before that the hole becomes a rip. Its small now, try to keep it that way, before you have a draw bridge hammock.. :scared: :laugh:

I have done the same. I just did a small patch with some left overs. If none is available, I have been know to order samples to make patches.
