NO KIDDING!!! I went there around the same time last year. After driving 5 HOURS and hiking in only 10 minutes I had to bail. I've never seen anything like it. Forget the bug spray and clothing. My arms (sleeves) were covered in blood from smashing the biting flies too. That's a pre-MAY only trip for me.Quote:

Just got back from hammock camping along the au sable river near Glennie, bugs were swarming terrible.
