MD checking in
Hey folks. Hows it hanging? (thought that would work well here) Long time camper, did some back packing in my teens and early 20's, now in my 30's I find myself borrowing my parents camper and taking the wife and kids out for a weekend (though my wife still complains because she is still more of a resort vacation girl). In the last 3 years have started to travel more and more on my motorcycle (my mistress), I started traveling and staying in hotels, but I find that I can usually double or triple my days on the road if I camp and cook rather than grab a hotel and dine in.
I just grabbed a used hammock off klr650.net for cheap ($40 so I think its cheap), gonna try it out in a few weeks on a trip out to OH and the back roads of WV. I'm also getting ready to try and build my own Tarp, no sewing machine, but I can sew if I had one.

Welcome from Rockville! Love the grandparent photo. Looks like most of mine with my grandparents - me in the middle, grandparents on either side, smokes in hand. The good life....
