Minor Repairs?
Hey all,
I was lucky enough to score a used great double layer wbbb 1.1 and I love it, but it has a few spots I'd like to patch. One is a thumb-sized hole in the bug netting near the seam, and the other is a tiny semi-transparent wear spot on the top of the footbox. It isn't on a weight bearing part of the footbox, but I'd like to put something on to keep it from getting any bigger.
Do any of you have any repair/patch material suggestions? I don't have any extra material lieng around, but the job looks simple enough for me to do on my own if I can find some scraps of bug netting/nylon anywhere.

Tear-Aid is a fantastic self-adhesive patch material for nylon, it worked really well on my GT Double, and is still going strong after a few months of use... But the 'correct' way to repair it would be with a patch of ripstop and some silicone.
Not sure about the netting.

as far as the bug net is concerned I think I would just take a needle and thread and simply sew the hole shut with an overhand stitch. With a hole that small it doesn't seem like it would need a patch, just sew it up.

I'll look into tear-aide, just want a little something extra so the soft spot doesn't go ary on a trip.
Thanks!
