I have been working over the last year gaining experience and knowledge from the great group of people on this forum. I have tried my hand at some different projects and have finally achieved one of my goals. To make an entire set up for myself and my son. So here is our first family DIY camp-out over Labor Day weekend. We camped in a Corps of Engineers park on Lake Degray in Arkansas. All that you see was sewn, cut, spliced or hemmed by me. It has been a lot of fun creating the pieces but it was great to take it all to the woods and use it as a family. Two nights in a row I slept 10 hours in my hammock:boggle:!!

Both tarps were made using the silicone/mineral spirits dunking method, both bugnets were made from WM curtain sheers with zippers installed, his under quilt is a modified summer sleeping bag, mine is made using 1.1 oz ripstop and quilt batting.
My wife's hammock and an extra hammock for guest.

The green hammock is a tablecloth blank and my wife's is "Duck Dynasty" pink camo I found at a fabric store.
Now to convert that huge down comforter to top quilts and under quilts
