Whew, way to go! Very nice.
I've had to become very familiar with my seam ripper. Almost too familiar, says my finger... (which has since healed, but still hurts when I use the seam ripper -- it remembers).

You're getting there! Yeah, my seam ripper always seems to work overtime for me on every project!
As ye sew, so shall ye rip!
This made me lol!
Got the hammocks whipped and ready to go last night. Put them up for a short test (not nearly long enough :( ) this afternoon. Later this evening I'll get to really test them. Might try over-night, but not sure.
I think I'll have to re-whip them and tighten up the edges just a smidge.
My fiance and I were at Gander Mountain (a local sporting goods store) and they had ENO gear on the shelves! Single and Double Nests, slap straps and bug netting. She got really excited when she saw them. Apparently she hasn't been paying attention for the last month or so when I've been talking about them. When she actually saw their small sizes, she was ready for me to be finished. :D She can't wait to not carry our tent when backpacking! And I agree!
After some testing and adjusting and making sure that our tarps are large enough to use, we won't be carrying the tent again!
Sorry to post this here, but I looked in vain for the spot to click on "new posts". I just want to know info on modifying cheap quilts from Ross and Target to make quilts and underquilts. I have no prior sewing experience, but I have about 3 cheap quilts and a H. H. Thanks
Welcome to the forum:) Sorry to say that I am not the right person to give advice on underquilts, but rest assured that there is a wealth of know-how on this forum. Good luck on the quilt but be forewarned, the DIY bug bites HARD :D
welcome to HF & to hammocking.
here's one recent post talking about making an underquilt.

there are other threads as well were the pros & cons of using that kind of store bought quilt as an underquilt. maybe some of the others will talk more about that (time for me to go to work<G>). ...tim
