Hi from Pittsburgh
Hello from Pittsburgh.
I had tried to do some hammock camping years ago using the cheap mesh hammocks and it never really worked out for me.
After a recent tent camping trip in the Forbes State Forest, I realized that a) my tent is really heavy and b) the ground is really hard (or at least has become that way for me), so I did some research and picked up a Warbonnet Blackbird.
I have only taken the hammock out a few times so far, but I am loving it. My next project is to stop the freezing booty issue...

Welcome! I'm from the burgh, but moved south a while ago. Did make it back up to hike the Laurel Highland's Trail last month, though. Hanging above a bed of ferns is a cool way to wake up :)
Enjoy the ride!

I will send out a welcome from far west Texas, although it pains me slightly being a Cowboys fan. :-)
