Southern Illinois Hang, Sam Dale Lake, 2/22-23/13

I didn't get to make it out to last years hang. So let's try this again.
Same Dale Lake is a 194 acre lake. It has 8.5 miles of shoreline to hike around.
Most times of the year there is nobody there. Tons of great places to hang at.

I deer hunt in southern ilinois over by the iron furnace, if you where that is, anyway I love it up there, let me know when they is another hang, maybe I can make it up there.

Would more people be interested if this trip were pushed back a few weeks to allow for warmer weather?

Sounds good. I never know about work this far out but set a place and time and I'll try to make it.

Well the original plan was for the 22nd-23rd of next month at the lake.
If the weather is too cold for some we can push it back a few weeks.

Just meet there or at a trailhead?

I'm not sure what time I'll be there. I'm sure I will be the only person there though. Not many people camp there that time of year.

If anyone has someone that wants to tag along, I have a couple extra hammocks I could loan out.
