Just got a Superfly tarp for Christmas. Seems like I have read that the tie out area needs seam sealing. Is there any other area that needs sealing? Thanks for any advice.

no..just the tie outs
As gunner said, no other areas need it. Some people do the ridgeline but its not necessary. For the tie outs, Permatex flowable silicone found in auto parts stores or the auto section in big box store is good for the job. Many people here use it. It's easy to work with and gets in the stitch holes well.
This video may help. Here is how I did mine.

I also use Permatex flowable silicone or a good quality pure silicone and dilute it with mineral spirits. I find that it easier to get into the fabric and threads and does not clump.
The auto parts stores around where I live didn't have permatex flowable silicone so I tried some different brand flowable silicone for windshield repair. I don't recommend it. If you can't get permatex do not settle for versa-chem (or something like that).
Thanks everyone!
