Prob a stupid question
Hey guys I have a hammock gear 0 degree incubator and have got cold in it at only like 30 degrees every thing seems to be snug. My question is can there be a way to tell if I am hanging it inside out?I have always hung it green side out that is the way I ordered it, but it does not seem to loft much like that so I tried to hang it the other way and seems to be more loft.

For mine, black is out, green is in. Also, make sure you're hanging the head end at the proper side. It has the small hammock-gear logo label (which is another way to tell - that label is on the outside - head end).
Hope that helps.

Mine is a little older there is no tag on it but thank you for the info.

I would send a PM or e-mail to Stormcrow. He's wonderful with customer service, and I'm sure that he'd be able to answer any questions you had.
Just a thought...

You might throw it in the dryer on medium heat with 2,3, tennis balls and a wrong out wash cloth to refluff it if its older could be the problem

Just me but
no way I'd put a precious HG uq in medium heat dryer.
Fluff with no heat and tennis balls yes.
Good you on this because my HG uq's are underrated, in that if it says 0F you should be good to -5F if not a bit more.

If you lay it out on the floor it should have a "natural" curve to it, due to one side being smaller than the other. The smaller side goes against your hammock.
And if it is older then a spin through a no heat dryer with a few clean tennis balls should help considerably.

When you say everything is snug, have you had someone look at your setup with you in it? The only think I can imagine that could be making that big a difference would be air leaks. What's you TQ set-up?

I use a wilderness logics top quilt, and yes I have verified everything is tight.

Is the wide end at your head with the narrow taper to the feet?
