Stunning, absolutely so.
Curious about the round fish net??? AHE selling those?
My time in Idaho was limited to Craters of the Moon, the Nez Pierce site, and Minidoka..looks like I missed the best part!
Thanks for the awesome photos.
What an awesome trip. Hope to make it next year.
Just beautiful! Looks like a great time. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I had a great time. It was a pleasure to meet some new people. I will try to be in better condition for the next one. I'm not going to skip out on the day hikes or trade "filets" for "sardines" next year. ;)
PG - Thanks for putting this thing together. You picked a great route with some stunning scenary.
KSC - We will have to get together sometime next year. I think I can make a trip down I-80 for some hiking.
Weird1 - I hope the rest of your journey is as entertaining as the stop in ID.:D ("I feel like we have gone 28 miles.")
Dbl - It was nice talking to you on Monday night. Keep flogging the water and the fish will come. :shades:
Here are a few more shots from camp. I just wish I could have pushed on to get shots from the other side of the ridge.

Simply Beautiful Paul. Thanks for the pics, I'll dream lovely scenes of Idaho tonight.....
Great summery :D
Weird1 talked a lot about you Gary, hope you can make the next one.
Often it is I that am living vicariously...glad to be able to give some back.
Would love to have you come out and thank you.
Quite the opposite, once again his thorough packing helped to make sure we had all the things we needed. Fire wood was cut, dinner was cooked, brew was drunk thanks to KSC. :shades: We missed having you there.
The shots with his name below them and the last ones I posted of the hammocks are by Muse the rest are my pics.
From Crammer they would be strait west on a hanging valley about 1000 feet higher than the creek. They overlook the south end of the canyon just opposite crammer.Quote:
Where are these upper Red Fish lakes you day hiked to and fished?
Yes KSC made a couple form a flat bread, W sauce, mini peperoni and some sliced cheese that only needed to be heated in a small frying pan...one of the one egg size I believe.Quote:
And did I understand you to say you made pizza after day hiking to to these lakes?
Hiking with you again was great KSC, Thanks for the nudge to get my butt wanting to go over the hill to Upper's, it was well worth the cost of a pair of shoes ;)
Happy to share a little of our fun.
Thanks, it was a blast, always it to hike in those hills.
Lots of amazing places out this way.
The nets are still in the works, we will be stocking something soon at Tenkara-Fishing.
Truthfully the Sawtooths is just the tip of the ice burg of the best part. :D
