Connie:
Welcome to HF and all things hammock related, and some other things not even closely related to hammocks. Ask questions, they will be answered. Maybe not directly but they will be answered. The vendors here are not typical business people, they have been nothing but helpful to me with all of my request for mods and concerns that may arise. Thank you for the website post, I will have to check that out.
One more thing, like BER, I want to know how you kept dry while you were hammocking under you Hobie Cat16???????

Thank you.
I feel welcome, now.
I have been thinking what to do next, hammock-wise.
Now, I have a better idea how to proceed.
As for the answer to the question: How do you hammock under a Hobie 16?
Well, you sail right up on a sandy beach. Not too fast or you crash, I suppose. I didn't crash. I eased right up on the beach. I hopped out, and pulled the Hobie 16 further up, on account of the tide. I setup the Choinard 'Pea Pod' hammock under "Little Boat" and had a good nap.
And that is that.
