Warbonnet Black Bird thats black?

So I don't know if anyone saw or I'm just really slow but...Brandon brought back the black Black Bird! :boggle: So I finally pulled the trigger. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

I totally love the idea of having a black Black Bird. Anyway, my wife just called me a girl because I bought something because of it's color. :scared: I told her she just doesn't understand and went back to HF for some understanding.

Will there be any other blackbirds in black? like the 1.7 oz double layer? I notice that only the 1.1 DL is in black, it sure would be cool to have a black blackbird, black UQ, black tarp.

Would love to see some pics when it arrives.

OH MAN! A black blackbird! I am so pumped right now! I bet it'll look awesome with my blackcat tarp. I think the new winter TQ will have to wait now.

Yeah, but then I do rather like the olive green colour of the 1.7 double from all the photos I've seen.

What would blend into the bush better? black or olive

If they come out with a option for a black 1.7 double before I place my order for my WBBB, then I'll probably get that.

Anyone know if there are any pics of the black blackbird?

Well, did you order anything in hot pink to accent the black? Black and hot pink just go together so well! Perhaps something frilly for the Skeeter net (perhaps in a warmer shade of coral) just to break up the utilitarian design? I like it. :laugh: I think that you may be on to something about this accenting thing. Think of all the things that could be done...backpacks, tarps, shoes, and poles. Aww the possibilities ;)

yep, 1.1's in black for a limited time.

all double 1.1's are now black, still have some single 1.1 bb's and the 1.1 travelers in grey till i run out.

mainly trying to use up this black fabric, so this is not a permanent color change. anybody who wants a black one, now is the time, will be going to a dark grey (darker than the current grey) eventually

I just couldn't resist the lure (siren song? -- get it?) of a Black Blackbird any longer...

I know I have noone but myself to blame, but watching Shug's video with his original black model again didn't help, and of course Brandon keeps making irresistible stuff. Since I was going to be in the doghouse anyway (my backyard hammock hang just inside the edge of the woods - ha! some punishment! -- like sending a teenager to his room!) that asym diamond will be so sweet when it finally gets warm...next May. Probably about the time the wife will thaw too.

My wife now asks if every purchase has a hammock-driven purpose, "...so, is that <insert unrelated random item here> for your hammock too?"

I know that this forum will understand.

I can stop whenever I want...right? :drool:

p.s. I sure hope they're still "in stock"... :eek:
