Living room TL stand
I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures of my (pretty unportable) Turtle Lady stand that Mr. Pips and I use nightly as our living room lounger. This is a great alternative for those who don't want to or can't drill bolts in the walls. It's tricked out with lanterns hanging from each tripod. There's a power strip mounted on the head tripod for the laptop:

It has a down Flamethrower underquilt from Arrowhead Equipment hung with a modified Scum-type suspension.
It also has a cat hammock built in to the foot tripod:

I've built another TL stand that I keep (disassembled) at my mother-in-law's place for when we're over there.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and thanks, as always, to the Turtle Lady and so many others for their inspiration. :D

Update
I ordered a taffeta tablecloth from tableclothsfactory to make a <WIDER> living room hammock to go with my TL stand. It's even burgandy to match my decor! I'll let you know how it feels. I've never made a hammock wider than 60 inches before. I have high hopes!

I was thinking about doing this to my stand the other day when trying to figure out how to get my gear, shoes etc off the ground while using this stand. Good to know it works. Thanks pips!

Thank Fish for bumping this back to the top, I hadn't seen Pipsissewa's awesome take on the TL stand.
