Bias double layer help.

I got a Bias camper xl double layer a week/ ten days ago and really like it. It is super well made and roomy but I am having trouble finding the sweet spot. I have started out in it the last few nights but end up going back to my eno dn half way through the night. Does the opening for padding go at the head or the foot end? After sleep IN an eno for nearly a year it's weird to sleep ON a bias. Eno is more burrito and the bias is a taco and feels a little more tippy. Shane and his partner worked hard to get me the hammock and I look forward to sleeping in it.

Does it have a ridgeline on it? May need to tighten it up a bit? Maybe a pic would help.

Head or foot end would be a personal preference. You might need and adjustable RL. I'll shoot ya a PM.

Whenever I've been uncomfortable in a hammock it's been because of not enough sag!

mike, you should also sleep on the bias while in the eno. and check your sag!

Thanks everybody! I have an adjustable Ridgeline and I think I got the sag close to perfect now. Last night was a great sleep all night. Thanks again!

Same here.

Also, each hammock is a little different. Most of the time the fixed 9 foot RL is perfect, but we've had a few reports of some specific hammocks (I don't mean models as much as individual units) that had issues with this ridgeline. Too tight, too loose, not comfortable, etc.

I am with Shane... an adjustable ridgeline might be the right solution. My suggestion would be to increase the sag (shorten the RL by six inches). See what that does and adjust. If it's "too saggy" or still uncomfortable there, lengthen it incrementally to 10 feet.

My BIAS WWM dbl had uncomfortable calf pressure from a ridge of fabric that I couldn't adjust. I swapped ends (head to foot) and the lay was perfect after that. I sleep in mine several nights a week and like it much better than my ENO.
