Got it on my calendar. I think Sipsey and his wife may be coming up from Haleyville, AL. He's a trail maintainer in the Sipsey Wilderness there, and just rode back with us from New Hampshire (where I was hiking on the AT and he had just finished his '12 thru-hike).

It is in southern Middle Tennessee at the Meriweather Lewis National Monument campground. Mapquest shows a little over 7 hours. from Radford.


Neo, thanks for the heads up on the dates. I can't say as I am all that into arts and crafts to want to be in that crowd. I won't know my work schedule until we get closer to the date, but if I have to work that Sat. I still hope to be there around 5:00.

the reason i changed the date is because the weekend of the arts and craft there will be hundreds of people camping there and a hangout would be impossible lol:cool:neo

I plan on being there.....wife/kids are a maybe. Any plans for kayaking this time??
