It really depends on what I am using it for. On a whoopie, it use to only need a small loop, as I was larksheading it directly on the hammock, then I found out that I can use a continiuos loop or dog bone on the hammock, and attach the whoopie with either a Dutch whoopie hook, soft shackle, or carabiner. So the fixed end on the whoopie would need to be a little larger, for use with a toggle, or my favorite, the Dutch Buckle. But for the dog bone, a small loop would work fine.
For a vendor, that is making a lot for several different people, and want a standard size, I would say 2" would work for all around use.........RR
2-3... I see nothing wrong with a little larger and only problems if its too small... I usually make mine 2 inched on the side attaching to the continuous loop, and 3 on the side going over my toggle... But I use a carabiner as my toggle so the whole biner has to fit through the eye...
Oh and I prefer apple pi(e)...
Mmmmmmm apple......RR
Thank you all for participating in this poll. Will go with making the stock loops a bit bigger to line up with the suggestions. As always if there is a desire for bigger or smaller then just let us know with the order and thy will shall be done.
Wife made a combo cherry / apple pie with a sweet crumb topping last night that is amazing. :D
