What was the question?
While we are on the subject: I ordered a poncho liner to make a summer UQ and got one without a hole for your head to go through. Was this an accident or do they come without and you have to make your own? I'm not complaining it is better without. Kinda strange though.
Mike I have never seen one with a head hole. Makes you wonder why they call it a poncho liner doesn't it?
The "head hole" is basically a kit you buy and have the local seamstress install. A poncho liner is basically made to turn a poncho into a field expedient shelter (bivy) with the addition of a little insulation. The liner isn't really made to be worn under the poncho as a garment but can be modified to serve that purpose.
It lines a military poncho to convert into a sleeping bag for "light" deployments.
Danny, put your question back up, and be patient...sometimes it takes awhile for someone to come along that has the answers you seek.
Thanks, I thought I must have posted it in the wrong spot so I moved it to the 2Q2Z post section, I hope I didn't offend anyone just thought I made a mistake. As you can tell I am very new to Hammocks and forums, I can't believe the great information you can find on these forums.
Thanks
Dan
