Planning on getting there Friday afternoon. Everything still good to go?
I'm miffed about the weekend :(
My poncho/groundcloth can be made into a ghillie suit with the addition of just three more blades of grass  :cursing:
My tactical hiking technique is designed to keep my enemy's confused: I'm either going to fall on my face or dart off into the woods at any time :scared:
We have a few days to go till the Horse Creek hang July 15-17 2011. This is the list as it stands so far:

I've put everyone under "maybe" until you let me know I need to put you under "yes". As we get closer I'll need to try and get all of your projected arrival times. Its getting closer, so reserve your trees now!!
Spamburglar had an invitation he could not refuse to work this weekend, so that puts this broken toed hangar as the new "honorary host".
If you folks know when you might try to be there, please let me know. If anyone needs help or directions, just PM me.
im going to have to pass. not able to swing the trip up. just goes to show i need to make my own hang...
Looks like the weather will have lows in the upper 50's and the hottest will be in the low 80's. We'll be about 1000 feet above that forecast, so subtract about 3 degrees for the campsite. Those making their way to the AT will want to shave another 6 degrees as it is above 4000 feet.
Information and direction are here The trailhead is where the hiker icon is.
Looks like 6 or 7 of us will be there.
if sweeper was going and i could hitch a ride up, id be coming, just cant afford the gas right now. sad. i was looking forward to my first hang...
oh i knew it was a haul, but i wanted to do the ride. i take random long rides....i just cant feed the bike on that long trip, money being short and all.
