Stake storage ??

What do you all do to store / carry your stakes when hiking.

In pack :confused:

In pack in some kind of bag / sack :confused:

Outside pack :confused:

With tarp :confused: (I wouldn't think that's a good idea :eek:)

I've tried using a small soft glasses bag thingy but the vargo 6" Ti nails I use now eventually have punched through the bottom :mellow:

My tarp goes into the snakeskins, I fold them up and wrap the ridgeline around it. I then run the hook end under one of the wraps of ridgeline to hold them all together. Haven't had a problem with it yet, but I've considered tying them together and throwing them in a pocket on my pack somewhere too.

Thanks a lot, that's exactly what I was after, Didn't relise it was already there.......

i put mine into the little slots in cardboard... makes for a nice, nonspacious solution

Cuben fiber pouch from Zpacks then in an outside mesh pocket.

Put them in the bag upside down.

Outside mesh pocket in my rock bag for bear bagging.
