New Guy- New Project and question.

Hey y'all, I'm new to the forums and would like to ask a quick question. I would like to make an underquilt. I have only tinkered with a thread injector a few times, but have a decent grasp on the process... lines aren't quite straight though. (So don't look too closely when I'm done...) I thought about using PrimaLoft... I've never ad any experience with it. I found some pretty expensive sleeping bags made out of it. Do you have any thoughts on it. Or do you know of a better/cheaper place to buy it. I thought $35 for 5 lbs wasn't too bad a deal, but y'all know a lot more about this kind of stuff than I do.

By the way. I love the site here and have spent many hours during the last several days reading. I love the DIY posts! My only complaint is that I have lost several hours of sleep cause I can't put my laptop down once I start reading!
