DIY Down Top Quilt Measurement Spreadsheet
To simplify construction of a straight sided top quilt I put together a spread sheet to give me the measurements for cutting the shell material, baffle length & spacing as well as how much down per chamber. See http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=4362 for a walk through on the actual TQ construction.
I included examples from HammockGear.com to help people decide on their desired final specifications. I also included a cost comparison tool  to help folks decide if they really want to build one themselves or just order from one of the cottage manufacturers. I'm on a budget so it's DIY for me.:D

Corrections for Top Quilt Spreadsheet
I finally got around to building my Top Quilt and caught a number of errors on my spreadsheet. :scared:
- Number of Chambers was actually number of Baffles
- this meant the down numbers for each chamber were off, totals were correct but the distribution wasn't.
- Baffle measurements didn't include hamming margins on the sides, they did for top and bottom.
- You'd have to cut out an extra baffle to fit in somewhere because the baffle numbers were off by one.
My apologies to anyone who build off the previous version. It should be good now.
