bug net/eno hammock
im wanting to add a bugnet to my eno double nest and was wondering is there any patterns for this? and what kind of netting should i use?
I do want to sow it to the hammock. i know its a little out of season for a bug net, but maybe i could find the materials a little cheaper this way!
and my other question is should the zipper be on the net or where it connects to the hammock?
oh is this even really possible ? i mean theres a lot of extra fabric on the sides of the hammock when im in it, would it make a shelf? or just hang there not so pretty like?
Thanks

I've thought about this myself. Wondered if it was even feasible to sew a bug net onto the ENO. It makes sense in my head, but that doesn't always mean its practical. Excited to hear some more experienced DIYer's chime in here.

People have sewn bug netting to the Eno, so it is possible. Not sure who it was though, but it ended up looking like a Darien.
Basically sewn teh netting directly to the hammock along one side, toss over ridgeline and sew a zipper to the other side of hammock and the netting. If you want you can add a strip of ripstop between the zipper and netting to help reduce the chance of the zipper snagging on the netting.
Be sure and measure twice and then measure twice more. Netting can be weird sometimes when cutting and sewing.

appreciate it! i like the look of those Darien hammocks, so i hope my eno turns out at least similar to that!
