Double Braid nylon ??

I have access to a remnant spool of 1/4" double braid nylon I am thinking of making my suspension from. A couple quick questions if anyone knows...

1) I know making an eye splice is different than Amsteel ( but doable) but is there a way to make a sliding bury like you can with Amsteel?

2) Best Knot for making a loop? Good Ole Double fisherman's work OK?

you'll need a single braid make a whoopie i believe

nylon is one of the worst materials for a suspension, you will have signifigant stretch with a nylon line that size
