I wish I wouldn't have saw this! I've been looking for a pack and that gorilla pack looks pretty dang nice!
Yeah I like the Mariposa :0
Don't.add.to.cart...
nice! the gorilla is been tempting me.
I have the Mariposa and I LOVE it...it's replaced my REI Flash 52 and Osprey Exos 34 as my go-to pack...
Full disclosure: I'm a GG Trail Ambassador, but I really really like this pack...I've taken it on one 38 mile backpack and one 41 mile backpack this month and it's performed really well. I love that I can fit my hammock and tarp in the long side pocket so they are easiliy accessible once I get to camp.
So after looking some more I think I'm going to order a mariposa instead of a gorilla. The problem is my torso is 22" and puts me on that borderline spot of choosing a large or extra large pack. Can any of you guys give me some advice on which to choose? This is my first hiking pack so I have no expierience in this area.
For once I had already decided on something before the sales were advertised. Just need to get the family the info and wait until Christmas for them to give it to me.
I was planning on picking up a sawyer squeeze this month but now I see the Thinlight 40" pad is $33. Decisions!
Hello hammock forum users :) it's about time that I posted on here after all of the lurking I've been doing lately!
I'm curious about the foam pads that GG sell. Particularly the torso length nightlight one.
Are they worth the money compared to a standard foam roll mat? Also- Does anyone here have any experience using one with a hammock? (I prefer a pad vs an under quilt in case hanging isn't an option).
I'd appreciate any insight that people here can give me! Thanks :)
