There seems to a growing club of Minneapolis/St. Paul hangers now. Too cool. PM me if you ever want to meet up somewhere. Maybe a park or something and we can do show and tell. I would be happy to show you anything that I have learned along the way. Como Park is very close to me.........
sounds like a great idea shug! Como's not far for me-better bring the extra long tree huggers (some big ole trees over there)!

Could also meet at Central Park in Roseville....
Here's some pictures of the SuperFly in the Oregon Dunes last weekend. CRAZY wind!

I've been hangin' on that tree for years. It always bends in the wind but springs back up just fine :scared:
The wind actually came in from the west, from the sea at the front of the tarp, switched to the south side and ended up coming at me from the north! I got hit on all three sides at different times during the day.

Crazy that you can actually tell how much it was gusting just from that first picture. Seems like you had the same winds I had last weekend :scared: Wish I had a superfly that night : /.....my diamond tarp ended up slingshotting a stake in the early morning and I had to take that side and wrap it under me in my hammock to get back to sleep. It came down the canyon like waves rushing towards a shore. It was the strangest wind I've ever seen in my life.
