I'm 6ft and 288 lbs and Slept 2 nights in my new Eno DN with the new biners. No issues here. That will with CSF Mat, Sleeping Bag as TQ, multiple layers of clothes, Kindle Paperwhite, Keys and Cellphone in pocket of DN.
thanks 4 the thread..
good info:shades:
I just bought an ENO DoubleNest a few days ago. It's hard to see, but they say "Not for climbing" and "Max weight 400 lbs" on one side and "ENO" on the other. They are 35 grams for the pair (assuming my scale is correct).

They are about the same price as some of the climbing rated carabiners from REI - I just purchased a couple - probably a safer bet. Plus, more colors (I was a able to get a pair of green ones to match my hammock).

just for comparison. Climbing rated and only 23 grams each

Thanks for the REI Links guys, I too am thinking of switching out my original ENO biners with lighter weight/better for fabric ones.
Biners were the first thing to go when I purchased mine. Doesn't make sense to use something you can trust 100%
I just picked up my ENO DN in late Febuary (amazon.com) and received the old steel carabiners. Those things are really heavy.
Going to toss them out and replace the rigging. 2 rounds of 24hour driving gave me plenty of time to design a quick setup rigging which will make setup and tear down so much easier.
