Wanted: Photo of The Burrow in stuff sack...

Hey All,

I am looking for a photograph of the "The Burrow" stuffed in it's stuff sack along with a Gatorade bottle (because by now you've learned they are 9x lighter than a Nalgen bottle, right?) or some other common thing that I could identify.

Basically I would like to see just how small this sucker can compress down for inside of a backpack. I am a visual kinda guy I guess you could say. :lol:

I suppose it laying beside a Gatorade bottle, a Nalgen bottle, a BearVault, or other similar things would be kinda what I am after.

...StormCrow just does not take such photographs for his website...

Did you take any that are dimensional (shows how round/fat it is) ??

Also, is that 800 or 900 down, and is it overstuffed at all?

And, have you tried to place it in a compression bag to see if you can get it smaller?

No i didn't. Smaller than a soccar ball. about 9" across. This was 900 fill. I wouldn't want to compress it anymore than what it is. It's pretty tight in the stuff sack. I just stuff it into my pack and stuff things around it.

Looks like mine, and mine is 800 with 2 ounces overfill. It does compress more, so I put it at the bottom of my pack and use weight to compress it. Too much though and one or two feathers will poke through the nylon.

Why did you go 800 w/ overstuff rather than 900 w/o overstuff?

Impulse buy. I didn't really think about it and just before clicking the mouse I added a couple of ounces. Please don't make me think about this and have to order another!
