full-length winter under quilt uses?

Anyone use a zero degree full-length winter under quilt in spring or fall?
Has anyone used it at 50 degree temps? What was the outcome? Can you be comfortable using it under these conditions?

If it's and info at all... I used a zero degree partial quilt system in 30*F and I was HOT!!!

I use my winter incubator indoor every night(around 70), i just use a light blanket as a top quilt when indoors. YMMV....

Just don't hang it as tight and leave the ends open for max ventilation.

I get hot when I use my 32 summer Phoenix in 50 but that's just me. It is easy enough to vent but if you backpacking with it, it's a lot of dead weight. But to simply answer you question, Yes you can use a 0 incubator in summer but at least for me I would be way to hot. HYOH YMMV

I've used my winter Incubator in the dead of summer - temps in the 70's at night - in this way many times with great results. Granted, you are carrying the extra weight, but all I have is a 3 season and a winter UQ and when my wife and I both go out there ain't much choice.

I'm ordering a 0° winter incubator and I plan on using it into the lower 40's some. I just plan on allowing it to vent as needed.

Thanks for the reponses - it seems fine to use it during warmish temps. Simply venting it as necessary should do the trick.

I know I'm late to the party, but I just used my winter incubator and winter black mamba on a hike/campout a few weeks ago. It only got into the 40's and my feet were HOT. I pretty much kicked the TQ off my legs and vented the UQ.

I suppose a little warm is better than freezing.

I've been getting HOT in my winter incubator. so far this week the temps have been down in the 70s. Hot sleeper I guess but, my 3-season yeti has been awesome.
