Great report. I wish I could remember to video when I hike. I take pics but always forget to video.

Great report, Paul.
Personally, my favorite shot was near the end when you and Rock Hopper are walking together away from the camera, each with a hiking pole. You have two packs and RH has none! Now how did that happen? Brings back memories!
I am thinking of getting a Roller Pack myself. I contacted Dixon Roller Packs with a question but have not heard back yet. I saw on a vid that the handles come off but does the wheel section remove for transport? I must transport it by bus. It fits within their length requirements, but I would worry that the wheel might get damaged. Also, whether to get the 50 lb or 100 lb version. I am 5' 4", though I have long legs. Would rather get the heavier model. As sometimes I go on extended excursions and usually tote 60 lbs or so of gear. My inseam length is 33". Do you think a 100 lb one would track OK and not be too long? Any feedback would be appreciated.
