Hickery is alive and well and back at home. Just talked with him. He's not got internet there but will probably touch base when he gets to the station. I'm sure he'll fill everyone in on the trip out ... but man you guys made the right call on leaving when you did.
Ahhh Shucks, preciate you fellars concern.I got home Sun. night with a bruised car and hurt feelings cause I couldn't get up to the Gorge as I had planned on the way home.I was obviously in the wrong ride! That 11 miles out on the blacktop was quite a puckering ride.I slammed a gardrail about the first mile into it.Nooner & SE came back to pull me off and followed me the rest of the way out.Only had to hook onto me one more time.Took well over an hour to get to the plowed road.We sure had us a mighty fine time.Lots of laughing, eating & big firewood! Hope to see all again at Rogers.I'll be driving the red/black 4X4 Dodge.
Ya, when I lived up there, always had to carry tire chains for my Jeep. Especially for those back roads, I still had white knuckles on occasion. Thanks for the trip report and the pics, I gotta get back up there soon. Florida is great in the winter, but I miss the snow on occasion.
Looks like you guy's had a great hang! And a sleigh ride too!
