Mighty sorry to see that ... but hey eat a half dozen pickled eggs for lunch and what'd ya expect Muttly? :woot:
That sucks!!!
That cat looks like he is rolling around laughing
Glad you were not hurt.
Coloration of that tag on the edge suggests "Speer" to me. Edges look like they're lined with velcro, wasn't that one of the Speer things, used to attach the bugnet and also the SnugFit?
And I too am sorry about that fall, the bumps from which will pass, but the loss of a hammock, and such a venerable one too...pity.
Yes, it was a Speer. Super comfy. The reason is still a mystery. Just spent a little lime taking off the suspension and ridgeline. Never knew how somber that could be.
And yes, the cat was laughing.
AAHH man I am so sorry to hear of your loss, its always sad when gear goes. But I as well would like some more info, some suggested it is a speer? You said you had it for three years how much use did it get? And with every gear that passes a new one is bought. Glad to hear you were not hurt to badly.
I'm guessing about 75 nights. No complaints on the workmanship. I bet there was a small tear that quickly gained some larger aspirations.
It was the pickled eggs?!? **** that Flatline!
I'll let you know. Thanks!
Had to laugh at that one.
Just put a zipper on it and you'll be good to go with a choice of entries.
That's the worst imitation of a HH bottom entry I've ever seen.
