put something under the tarp material i.e pebble, scrunched up cigarette butt, pine cone etc. then tie a knot over the material and under the object your using... instant pull out.
Kinda the same idea as the dutch clip on tarp pull outs but using a guyline straight onto the material instead of the plastic clippy bit.
I think it is a plus your took the shower rod hooks out before using as a tarp.
swank
I just used plain old black spray paint on it. Because it was just a shower curtain, I didn't care what type of paint I used.
I'd suggest using a fabric paint on the sil tarp.
After reading, the only thing that seams to stick to silnylon is silicone. That leaves me two real color choices, white and black. Silicone caulk, mixed with mineral spirits to thin it to a 'paint like' consistency, then paint it on over the stencil and allow to dry. When I make the tarp I think I'll experiment with some scrap before I risk my hard work on some 'creative art work'.
Sorry to hijack. . . back to our regularly scheduled programming. . .
Love the tarp, have you considered using 2mill plastic drop cloth?
I'm curious. I stumbled upon that GoLite Poncho-Tarp/Emergency Shelter idea a while back (Good Video on it on YouTube) and one of the "components" of it was a ground cloth of polycro. Is this the same stuff?
