Artjrk! You are the man! Thanks so much. Do you have enough cooler space for all the hamburgers and hotdogs? I have an extra cooler I can bring. I will be at Gathland around noon and can pick up some ice when I'm shuttling my vehicle around on Friday if you need me to bring cooler.
I can give you an estimate on the number of burgers and dogs closer to the event. But if the weather is good, we may need as many as 70 burgers and 70 dogs. Numbers are getting up there.

@ Happy Camper, I am bringing garbage bags for recycling, and will haul it back home to be recycled.
@ All attendees, please during the pot luck look for the bags marked recycling and before recycling any plastic or aluminum cans empty them please. That would cut down on any leakage in my car.
Cant wait to see you all their.
Thanks and cant wait to see you all their.

Sounds great LRR. I'll have the garbage bags for the rest of the garbage and will haul that away in the back of my truck. And we can remind people to dump out any pop so the cans won't leak in your car.
Thanks again Artjrk for taking care of the burgers and dogs!

Whittlers/carvers ??
I don't mean to hijack or derail the thread, but if there are any whittlers or carvers headed to the hang, I'm just starting to chip away  and would love any advise you have. I'm hanging all weekend, including into sunday afternoon, so if you have any tricks, I'm all ears. Since I've just started, and we are "car camping", I'll be bringing my knives with me...others are welcome to join...(and teach...).
See you all in a couple weeks (I'M SO EXCITED, I SET UP MY HAMMOCK IN THE HOUSE...wife...not so happpy)

Oh yeah! Pro Vagabond whittling! I can see it now. P-V showing up in a car he whittled himself. (If you saw his DIY setup during the hammock house tour a couple of years ago, you'd understand that he can totally do this! :D :D :D)

I'll be bringing a picture of that setup so any newbies or DIYers will feel better about their setups.
See you in a couple weeks!!

@ Happy Camper. I am bringing a large gas grill 2' x 5' with griddle attachment for the Dutch pancake feast in the morning and evening hamburger/hot dog cook that evening.
This will keep the hungry hordes at bay!
