Does anyone have any idea on water level in Laurel Fork Creek? Just curious how the creek crossings would be to ford.

I don't know about now but when Spamburglar went on his recon he said that it can be rock hopped.
since I haven't seen anything posted (or missed it) I am guessing we are responsible for our own permits?
I am going to use the link I posted 2 pages back and do my online if I don't hear anything today. Using that will save me some driving time and I won't have to backtrack to get to the trailhead
There are so many crossings it is best to have a back up plan. Last year I ended up hiking in my crocs for several miles on this trail. I would plan for wet feet and keep the hiking shoes on the pack when we hit Laurel Fork on Fri afternoon and Saturday morning. The deepest crossings will be Saturday and probably still below the knees since it has not rained very much in the last couple weeks. Friday will be some above the boot if levels are average.
The video in this thread shows the last couple crossings that we will do on Saturday morning. I beleive it is near the end for the daylight crossings. The night crossing was more fun:)
The video in this thread shows a good overview of the creek crossing on Laurel Fork. The first part of the video should be the creek crossings.
...oops. GPS calculated to eastern. Here!
