It's true that sleeping in the yard doesn't seem quite as special, now that I've been sleeping in my hammock every night. On the other hand, sleeping in the yard is very comfortable ;o)

Been hanging every night for 10 years - just find a way wherever I am. Windows, doors, ceiling...6mm screw is good enough in timber. A piece of timber screwed on the wall at home.
Lost track of time but I think it's 2 years now of full time hammock sleeping. Dread the bed.
no bed for this girl and my back thanks me every single morning. Even the kittykats have adjusted and sleep in there during the day on their own
The bed is my roommates. I'm a hammock man 100%

2.5 years in my Mayan - I bought it while feeling inspired (read impatiently excited) waiting for my Freebird. 2 different beasts, but both are very comfortable. It takes me just a bit to adjust to the Freebird on the first night of camping. Adjusting to a bed is a whole different story, and not advised anymore.
I've been contemplating this for a long time...
Been going for one month now, working pretty ok, but need to upgrade from a single model to a king size.
more than 3 years of home-hammocking, only missed about 10 nights
Since July 2014 for me. I use one of Opie's bridge hammocks most of the time. When I have a trip coming up I hang the hammock I intend to bring a few nights before so there's no "adjustment" night on the trip.
I can't claim to spend every night in the hammock as I stay over the at the GF's a couple of nights a week. I don't sleep well but sacrifices must be made. :)
