Nice video. 13 degrees sounds cool enough to me. We rarely see those temperatures. You have some nice gear and it looks like it served you well. Thanks for sharing.
It sure is. I have to thank you Shug for helping to get me back into the piney woods. In my younger days (many years ago) I used to backpack quite a bit throughout New England, but a back injury put a stop to that real quickly and even though I tried several times, I just could not sleep on the ground. Fast forward to a few years ago, and I ran across this crazy guy on You Tube backpacking in -26F snow in MN and having a blast. I think I saw every video you had made to that point, and was inspired to try hammock camping. One overnighter in a hammock, and I was hooked! No back issues and I can now get out there again--albeit a lot slower...;). I know this has been said many times over, but I just want to thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge--you've dramatically changed my life for the better and brought me back into the piney woods, now here in NM.
The cottage shops on HammockForums are the best--they make it really easy to get out there!
Nice video and very less people I know who love to be such enthusiastic in such cold!!:D..Great one!
