I use a continous ridge line for my tarps and hang the tarp under it if no rain and over it if rain in the forcast.
I fold my cuben tarp and then stow it in its stuff bag.

Sort of roll it and slide skins over each end. Pretty much like it shows me doing my cuben tarp in this video
I've always used mesh skins for that same reasons but actually the tarp doesn't dry in them ... it's a water proof fabric and all that water stays inside the tarp. You might get a little drying on the outside surfaces of the roll. But really even if the sun comes out and you hike all day that bad boy is soaking wet when you deploy it later that evening.
I use a continuous RL on mine, I just prefer the adjustability over two separate lines.
I have short shockcord loops on my tie outs, just for extra give in string winds more than anything else. I tie my lines out with marlin spike hitches now, Dutch showed me the light after messing around with adjustable knots for years.
I fold and roll like a bed sheet.
