Around here, we let threads live forever. That way when somebody posts to it years later and you read what you were saying 'back then', you'll laugh at your own naivety. :lol:

i look forward to it lol.hey ive got a good twist for your trail name.you should wear a necklace with little transparent container on it.on the container it reads.....in case of emergencies break glass....inside a packet of bbq sauce.:lol:you would get the shelter all to yourself.
If you do decide to quit, go to town, get a motel room, and stay there for a few days. Give yourself a chance to change your mind.
Some folks say if you're thru-hiking and it "stops being fun," you should go home. But any endeavor of this magnitude is bound to have times when it isn't "fun." You have to have a certain amount of drive and determination to get through these times.
This is the time of year when Springer fever starts to set in. I do so wish I was getting ready to head south and start another thru-hike!
