Figured, we may as well start a new thread.
Umptanum Canyon Recreation Area, near Ellensburg, WA. February 15-17.
Central WA can have variable winters can vary. This winter so far has been cold and snowy. It's easy to get to the hang site near the parking lot on a very flat easy hike. It's a great location for the first time winter hanger, and near by hotels, restaurants gas stations and grocery stores.
Count me in!
Valentines day weekend...... That might reduce numbers..
But if I can find someone local that wants to carpool down I think i'm in..

It's unfortunate I had to miss the Oregon hang. Count me in. Looking forward to stayin warm in my hammock.

I'll be there....and this time the wife is coming....She is a full time hanger now, and she loves to winter camp and finally has bought enough gear to do it between the trees :boggle:
