Bubba also has a picture from a hang in Algonquin Provincial Park that showed a camo cuben fiber tarp. Perhaps he could speak to who did it and how it was done.
Jungle Jim
Some of the dyes are acidic, that might be interesting.
I would contact Dharma Trading Company, they are the original tiedye folks, I have found them to be very helpful. I have called and received personal help with projects from them several times. They have many types of paints and dyes. I like the dyes because they absorb into the fabric, not sit on top of the fabric. I also like how the colors can blend or stay separate. Anyway, I would talk to them. I have bought starter kits of paint and dye from them for under $15.00 USD, that has fair size containers of coloring medium. I make banner flage 12 ft. long, the starter kit jars do around twenty flags per bottle.
[QUOTE=MrClean417;928592]Really, have you EVER had to run with your stuff sack? It would look kinda silly. You in your back yard, marker and stuff sack in hand yelling "Wheeeeee" while you travel from once fence to the other.[/
Thats funny, kind of felt like that when the results were dry.
Hairbear, the best thing was the way your camo was different if you where coming uphill or down hill. It was cool that it blended with valleys from one side and with the tree trunks from the other. Great job

Now that's impressive. I love it and want one :)
Wow that looks really good! I have to say, I wouldn't have had the nerve. Wonder how that would work on Silnylon?
W:boggle:W!!! That is GORGE!!!!! Thanks for sharing and congrats on your nerves of steel!
P.S. Did you use just green and brown? And did you hold the ink-soaked felt sideways and swipe? Or did you draw "fan-like" patterns?
Again, AWES:boggle:ME!
