I'd suggest putting together your suspension first. Practice splicing and make some whoopies.
Then grab your ripstop, and whip up, say, about 12 feet, and try it out. Don't cut or sew anything during the testing phase. Then rewhip at 11 feet and 10. I'm pretty big, and I like a 10-foot hammock just fine, but you have the stuff so why not try it out.
Once you get your dimensions down you can choose between the two hammocks in the stickies, check the plans on DIY Gear Supply, and other sources. Above all have fun!

Remember you can strip the inside out of the paracord and still have enough strength for the whipping...

Sweet im gonna check out your build a little more plan on making my whoopie slings and ridge line in the next couple days i will post some pics when im done

Is the 100" before or after making the whoopie and eye splice in it is what i was wondering so i was gonna do more investigating before making pictures are always great thanks for the input
