I can :)
I can :)
i use a tree hugger as a belt :) with these
Hairband into a prusik....can I play too? My cart straps double as my tree straps when I get to my destination, but I don't turn them into my belt. I suppose I could, but they're 2" wide, so I'll refrain from doing that.
i used one tree-hugger as a belt and the other for a leach, but at camp my pants kept falling down and my dog ran away :scared:
Are you using the buckle as part of your hammock suspension? Are the buckles strong enough? Or are you using a marlinspike hitch on the doubled belt ends without putting any load on the buckle? Inquiring minds want to know. :)
That's a beautiful job on the leather belt, but what I'm interested in is a tree hugger that's safe. Your sewn-in rings look nice and strong. Are you hanging from them rather than the plastic buckle? Could you use two rings instead of a buckle? For the trail I'd leave the nice leather belt at home and use a strap that could double as a tree hugger.
Yes I can, see this thread https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ad.php?t=68955
