I sent you one of my SBPro, but I also have one of the ATHH setup in my backyard in my gallery if you want to use it as well. I may go out this weekend for a little dayhike I will try get a pic of the SBPro with the ATHH as the tarp for you as well.
As many as you want to provide is fine by me! I want as many set-ups represented as possible.
All the pics you guys and gals have sent are fantastic. DeShazo even provided a few "how to not hang your hammock" shots. I must admit that a couple of them looked familiar from my own misfortunes.
While we are on the topic of images, if there is ever a HammockForums blooper reel put together I've got a submission. One of our hangers (who will remain nameless) was camped near me at TD in a Bridge. He/she claimed to have solved the problem with the Bridge hammocks and tarps which cause the spreader bar to poke into the tarp upon entry. The solution is based on the style of entry and since my battery still had a charge, I asked for a demonstration. Well, as luck would have it, the moment he/she got into the hammock the tarp went POP! :scared::lol:
So much for showing how to be gentle with a tarp. Anyway, it's here if ever needed. :D
If/when I get permission from the stunt person I will post it. Until then, I've got a promise to keep.
I just sent some more of my Clark NA using my new LEKI trek poles.
Haha, post that thing, Cannibal. I can take it.
For the record, what snapped on my tarp was a rubber washer/tensioner that shouldn't have been on the tarp ridgeline in the first place.
Cannibal, feel free to pull any of my pics also. Cool idea.
