A few months agoI made a post about how I was experimenting with sleeping full time in a hammock indoors. Since then I have gradually changed my bedroom to a hammockroom. I've gotten rid of my bed,...
I just ordered my second Ridgerunner. One is for camping and the other is a netless RR for sleeping indoors. I got rid of my bed and replaced it fulltime with a Ridgerunner that I've been sleeping in...
Take a look at these socks.

I really like the webbing. It's so simple to settup and adjust.
Rear panniers normally hold most of my camping equipment. Front panniers are clothes, first aid kit, and other stuff. I just feel more secure if my gear is strung up in a hammock above or near me.
That's what I was planning on doing, sleeping in my Ridgerunner and taking an ENO along to string up as a gear storage hammock.
I've been sleeping fulltime indoors in a Ridgerunner bridge hammock for the last 3 weeks and am in the process of getting rid of my bed since it is just taking up space. I think it depends on the...
Thanks, the Gear Sling might be what I am looking for. I normally carry 20 to 40 lbs of gear on my bike so it would be a tight fit with four panniers and a handlebar bag but I think it might work.
I looked at the link and that's what I'm thinking of but it says it is big enough to hold all but the biggest backpack. That doesn't sound like it would hold all my panniers and gear.
When bicycle touring/camping(or any type of camping really) does anyone ever carry a second, cheap hammock to string up for gear storage? I use a WBRR and am thinking about carrying a light hammock...
[QUOTE=dakotaross;1135174]Hoping I can take someone's heavier than needed double layer hammock off their hands to use for camping with my dog(s), whom I presume is going to want to be in the hammock...
I've been sleeping indoors using my pipe stand for about 2 weeks now. Never had a more comfortable nights sleep in my life as i do sleeping in the Ridgerunner. I had to sleep in my bed last night for...
Loki, this is a picture of the top and bottom of the stands as I modified them. The bottom stands feet were changed so I could go corner to corner instead of wall to wall. Going corner to corner...
I'm still experirmenting with the 3" addition but I think I like the RR with the 3" extension left in the spreader bar.
I want to keep the stand height as it is so I don't have to stoop to walk under the top pipe bar. I found I can adjust the hang height by wrapping the webbing a couple of turns around the hammock...
I use a Hennessey Hex tarp, 12x10
Shellmound Recreational Area near Chattanooga TN on a recent bicycle trip. Hennessey Expedition Deluxe.
This is my third night indoors with the Ridgerunner. I changed the pipe stand from running across the bedroom to running from corner to corner, added a 4' piece of pipe and gained 4 feet in length....
Nice. I was looking at a Catrike Expedition but decided to get a touring bike (Surly LHT) instead. A Trike is probably my next major cycling purchase.
I made a few minor adjustments and slept straight through the night in the RR for the second night in a row since I got it this Monday. Now I just need to get rid of the bed thats taking up space in...
I got a double layer Ridgerunner. I have a Big Agnes 25" wide insulated air matress to use with it.
I never saw a shipping notice in my email (and I checked the junkmail folder) but my Ridgerunner arrived 3 weeks and 2 days after I order it.
My new Ridgerunner arrived in the mail yesterday. Several people had told me that the 3-4 week shipping time listed on the Warbonnet website could take up to 7-8 weeks depending on how busy Branden...
That's what I did except I just used the T-joint without the 90 elbow. I wrap the rope around the T-joint.
I can't remember their name but there is a company that will mod your HH with a zipper on both sides of the hammock so that you can completely unzip the bug netting. It's cheaper than buying a second...
